Calling a 1-800 number is not part of the millennial lifestyle, and Butterball knows that many millennials are roasting turkeys for the first time this season. So they innovated a service that allows customers to text-message their questions, and a happy employee will instantly respond 24/7. Brands need to recognize that engaging with customers on mobile devices affects their relevance now and into the future.
